I'm Alex, a creative from New Zealand now living in Essex, UK. 

Originally from New Zealand, I fostered my love for all things photography when living in Far North Queensland, Australia. Shooting wildlife in tropical conditions challenged my creative scope and made me realise the key to the perfect shot is so much more than picking up the camera. I love to shoot all styles of photography and consider myself an all rounder - I love variety! From wildlife to action shots for freelancers and sports teams, events or small business & product shoots. 

With a background in PA and administrative roles, alongside a degree in Psychology, I decided to combine expertise in supporting people and managing tasks with my passion for photography and creative industries to launch Green Shoots Services. I understand how tough the creative industries can be, and I am available to support outside photography on a freelance basis from on-site shoot assistance to campaign prep, client support, event set-up, content capture, studio help, and behind-the-scenes admin — anything that helps busy periods and projects run smoothly.

I also offer freelance PA and administrative work either hybrid or in person throughout London/Essex, or entirely remotely. I have experience in a range of industries including healthcare, engineering, accounting and aviation. Whether it is your team or your clients that require support, I am available to provide assistance. 

I am available by half and full day, or fixed retainer monthly rates.

- Location scouting, test shooting

- Flexible help at events such as festivals, launches, pop-ups, galleries, exhibition and display assistance and running workshops, setting up signage or installations
